Embargo period

AnĀ embargo periodĀ is a period of time after an article has been published and before the author accepted manuscript can be made accessible to the public.

Evolution of ideas

This is defined as evidence that the work progressed over a period of time, rather than being copied from elsewhere, and normally takes the form of development work such as background research, draft versions, rough sketches, first recordings etc.

Exclusive licence

A licence that grants exclusive rights to a person or entity, preventing the author from granting similar rights to others and may restrict the author to use the work freely.

Exploitation rights

The exclusive rights granted to authors to decide how to use a work including, but not limited to, reproduction, distribution and communication and to make derivative works.
